I was born in rural Ontario, Canada and immigrated to the United States in 1995. Since retiring in April of 2022, my husband and I enjoy spending time with our children and grandchildren. We are also Pickleball enthusiasts.

I spent the first two years of retirement researching and writing The Petworth Project. The research findings kindled a passion to fictionize this story of what it may have been like to journey from England across a turbulent sea to a New World of promise and peril.
